About Us

Delbert Cirfera is the Executive Chef/co-Owner of Gastronomia Italia. Born in Southern Italy, he grew up and trained professionally in a family of restaurateurs, attending the Culinary Academy in Lecce. In 2012, he moved to Canada. After working for a large corporation in Vancouver for seven years in a management role, he opened Gastronomia Italia in 2021.

Delbert is constantly seeking a clean, technically impeccable style of cooking based on simple, high-quality ingredients.

His food aims to create lasting taste memories.

He has a holistic vision of food, which leads him to pay particular attention to the choice of servingware and the buffet or banquet setup.
